What about your friends?

Over on my personal blog, I had been thinking a lot about guest posting and how it might be fun to incorporate the ideas and interests of my friends over there.  I genuinely have no idea whether anyone would like to write something to be published on my little web nook, and I don't know how to go about asking.  And then there's the whole concern about content (I am a control freak, and I can't lie to you about that) and I wonder if it's just easier to give the world a topic and see who responds.  So I'm going to go for it and you can just join in the party if you'd like to participate, ok?  Ok.

So I'm throwing caution to the wind and starting something brand new, based on my very rudimentary research, and completely user-generated.  It'll be called the The Friends List.  The format is relatively simple: I would like people to find 5-7 handmade things that they think their bestest friends would love.  The reason why I'm suggesting this idea is simple.  The time I spend on Etsy and on other websites that sell awesome handmade and vintage things is generally filled with finding things (or stumbling across things) I am certain would be perfect for my pals.  And what an awesome tribute to curate a list of items and stories that would set your BFF's heart aflutter.
