Tell us a little bit about your friendship: Angela and I met just about four years ago on LiveJournal through a mutual friend and we bonded quickly over feminism, silliness and lentils.  After a fated meeting a few weeks later at a weekend getaway, Angela and I decided that life was better when we were together (for us and everyone around us), and our friendship has held on strongly and enthusiastically ever since.  She is my best friend, my sister and sister-wife, and my confidant.  She's the cheese to my macaroni, the LOL to my OMG and one of the smartest people I know.

What handmade delights did you choose for Angela?

 Cherry and Polka Dot Half Apron by MiniMaxwell - $15

Angela has secret aspirations (whoops) of being an adorable vintage-inspired housewife and I think this apron will help her achieve her dreams.  Cherries, polka dots, pink and a bright red trim.  Scrumptious!

Hearts on Fire Sterling Earrings by BluGrnDesign/celula - $46

Though Angela generally prefers earrings that make more of a statement, I think these hand-carved sterling silver sacred hearts would be a quiet homage to her faith.

Violet Spring Dress (plus size) by JIBRI - $180

Angela is a lovely, curvaceous lady and I think she would look beyond fabulous in this dress.  The shade of purple is bold and the pink waist band a fun sugary complement.  The best part is the slightly open back that would reveal her incredible back piece tattoo.  This is a perfect dress for Spring and Summer events.

Vintage Italian Rosary by sadieolive - $45

This vintage seller manages to make everything they sell look divine and ethereal and this vintage Italian rosary is no exception.  Thought it might only see the light of day at church or in the quiet moments when she spends some time with the Mos' High, I think Angela would truly appreciate both the beauty of this rosary as well as its country of origin.

A cupcake with angel's wings?  She definitely needs this. 

Vintage Pink Flamingo Glasses by needorwant - $16

I can imagine making some tasty mojitos for us in Angela's bright red kitchen, serving them up in these delightfully tacky vintage flamingo (her favorite) glasses and heading out the backyard to sit under the trees on a cool summer night to gossip for hours.

Happy Sloth Necklace by marymaryhandmade - $37

Despite her stressful day job, the responsibility of raising the most awesome child in the world, and all of her volunteer and community projects, Angela still knows how to kick back on a lazy Sunday afternoon and sloth it up with the best of them (namely, me).  A happy sloth, indeed.
